Throughout the month of December, students and staff have been gearing up for the Holidays and the two week break from school. From parties to decorations, here is a collection of photos from the past few weeks of some of the festivities that have occurred at South Lake.

- The Symphony Band performed a Holiday concert for parents and students. They perfumed classical versions of popular Christmas carols.
- Social Studies Teacher Tim Allen prepares pancakes for his AP Psychology class. The class decided to have a pancake breakfast before break to unwind and relax after a long semester of intense coursework.
- Contributing Artist Emily Athey ’16 poses with her sweater. He sweater features Science Teacher Joe Lambdin’s face with a santa beard attached.
- Journalism staffers Ayana Fair and Cornisha Kendrick hang Holiday lights up around the Journalism room in a last minute attempt to get into the Holiday Spirit.
- Math Teacher Marian Gurachech personalized stockings for each one of her students and hung them around the room. At the end of the day each student may take their stocking home and enjoy the candies that Gurachech packed with them.
- In preparation for a party, students brought in assortments of desserts and juices for various parties in the social studies classrooms on the day before break.
