Wondering what all the buzz is about the new way to Taco Bell? It all starts with an app.

The fast food franchise that brought customers the “Doritos Locos Tacos” have now revolutionized the way you can “Taco Bell” by creating an all new app for smartphones that allows you to browse through their menu, customize your favorite items, and order right from the app.

On the free application, you have the ability to order your food right on your smart-device.

After first choosing what item(s) you want, you are taken to a map to select a Taco Bell location where you pick up your food. Then you can satisfy all of your Taco Bell desires by personalizing your order to make it as beefy, cheesy or spicy as you want it to be. Next, you decide your desired method of payment, whether it be by debit, credit, or gift card. Once payment is complete, you are free to pick up your food via drive-thru or in-store while the store is open at the location you have previously selected.

“The app is perfect,” says Cassie Kury ‘17, “Taco Bell is my favorite fast food restaurant. With the app, I don’t have to wait or talk to a stranger just to get my favorite food. I definitely recommend getting it.”

Plus, if you get an unwanted item, mess up an order or simply just change your mind, the app allows you to go back and remove the item from your checkout list before you pay.

The app is simple to use and can come in very handy if you need to make a quick pick up while on the road, or if you need extra time to decide and don’t want to be an inconvenience to others in line.

With the new Taco Bell app, you are just a few taps away from your ideal meal.
