- At the start of the show, members of the March family and Lawrence family assemble to celebrate Christmas together.

- Beth (Gillian Skiba) and Marmee (Jessica Parker ‘15) return home to discover a bran new grand piano! The piano was given to them by their rich neighbor Mr. Lawrence.

- After a fight, Amy (Emily Ferrera ‘15) and Jo (Mia Hernandez) forgive each other and embrace.

- When their father who is off at war falls ill, Marmee must find a way to see her husband. In order to pay for the trip, Jo (Hernandez) sold her hair to a wig maker.

- While mother is away, Beth (Skiba) falls ill from Scarlet Fever. Hanna, played by Hope Peck ’17, delivers medicine to Beth in attempt to quell the fever.

- Aunt March (Caitlin Skiba) pays a visit to Meg to warn her against marrying a man who has no rich relations.

- Jo and Laurie (Robert Swetlic ’16) argue over the details of their relationship while Beth sleeps. Jo claims she will never marry Laurie so that she can stay at home and care for mother and father.

- Father (Myles Burnside ’16) comforts Jo after her fight with Laurie. Father returned from the war to discover Beth passed away from Scarlet Fever and Jo in distress over her death and denying Laurie’s proposal.
